Welcome New Chapters!
We are overjoyed to welcome two new chapters this month:
Hendersonville, TN – Nestled in the scenic hills just outside of Nashville, this growing medical community is full of young families and Southern hospitality. We’re excited to see how this chapter becomes a safe landing place for women planting new roots.
Akron/Canton, OH – Located in the heart of northeast Ohio’s healthcare hub, this chapter is launching with a strong sense of purpose and a hunger for connection. We love the bold vision of these leaders to bring Christ-centered support to a bustling medical community!
Please be praying for these leaders as they step forward to create spaces of community, care, and connection. We are cheering them on with joyful expectation!
Prayer Ministry Launch
Before we rise, we bow.
We believe prayer isn’t preparation for the real work, prayer is the work. This fall, we’re launching a renewed vision for the Side By Side Prayer Ministry with a two-fold mission: to cover our ministry in intercession and to cultivate a Spirit-led culture of everyday prayer.
Monthly Prayer Hour on Zoom (open to all SBS women!)
These one-hour gatherings are sacred and powerful, part teaching, part intercession, and part connection. We’ll explore creative rhythms like breath prayers and Scripture prayer, lift up ministry-wide requests, and spend time in small group prayer.
Led by Lindsay Ilgenfritz, Brittany Patterson, Kenzie Givler, and Jeanine Bruen, this team is committed to building a movement of prayer that fuels everything we do.

Northeast Regional Conference with CMDA
Side By Side will have a presence at the CMDA Northeast Regional Conference this October, where our very own Julie Fernandez will be representing and sharing encouragement with the women who attend. Let’s cover her in prayer as she speaks life into these precious medical families. Learn more here!
