Together for Her is Side By Side's first-ever online auction and a nationwide opportunity to come together in support of women married to physicians and dentists. This opportunity allows us to raise funds that will help us continue encouraging women and pointing them to the hope of Christ.
Because our community spans the country, this auction is more than a fundraiser. It's a chance for women, families, creatives, and businesses from coast to coast to come together and support the ministry in a meaningful way.
The auction will feature donated items, handcrafted creations, curated gift baskets, unique experiences, and special "go big" items. All proceeds will support the ongoing ministry of Side By Side.
The auction will open March 15 at 9am and close March 21 at 9pm.

Anyone! Because this is an online auction, you don't have to be a Side By Side participant or live near one of our chapters to join us.
We encourage you to share the auction with friends, family, coworkers, church communities, neighbors, customers, and anyone else who might enjoy participating.

Every winning bid directly supports the ongoing ministry of Side By Side.
Side By Side is a nonprofit global ministry serving women married to physicians and dentists through local communities and online connection. As a ministry of the Christian Medical & Dental Associations, we help women grow in faith, find support, and discover they are not alone through authentic relationships, small groups, and biblical encouragement.
Our ministry supports women throughout every stage of a medical career—from wives of medical and dental students and those navigating residency and fellowship training to women married to practicing physicians and dentists.

Donating to the Auction

Almost anyone! We're looking for individuals, families, makers, artists, business owners, Side By Side members, and businesses who would like to contribute.
You don't have to own a business or be a professional maker to participate. If you have something special you'd be proud to give as a gift, we'd love to hear from you.

We're especially looking for curated gift packages and experiences that will appeal to a broad audience and, whenever possible, can be shipped nationwide or enjoyed from anywhere.
Some ideas include:
•Food & Fun: Pasta night, sourdough starter kit, family game night
•Home & Cozy: Garden goodies, movie night, handmade pottery
•Faith & Encouragement: Bible study, prayer journal, encouragement basket
•Self-Care: Spa day, new mom care package, seasonal celebration

Yes! Gift cards can make excellent auction items, particularly for popular stores, restaurants, experiences, and services.

Absolutely. Experiences can be some of the most exciting auction items! Please be sure that these items can be redeemed anywhere within the United States.
Examples include coaching/consulting, artwork commissions, vacation stays, classes, tickets, or other unique experiences.
Please be sure to include any important restrictions, expiration dates, blackout dates, scheduling requirements, or other conditions when submitting your donation.

Early submissions are encouraged! This gives our team time to review your donation, gather any additional information or photos, and prepare the auction listing.

Each auction listing will acknowledge the individual or business that donated the item, providing an opportunity to share your work, introduce your business, or simply be recognized for your generosity.
Anonymous donations are also accepted; please just indicate your preference on your donation form!

Side By Side is a nonprofit ministry. However, whether a particular donation is tax-deductible and the amount that may be deducted depends on individual circumstances.
Business donations may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Please consult your tax advisor regarding your specific situation.
Bidding and Winning

No! Anyone can participate.

Visit the Better for Her Auction page to register to bid. Navigate to the item of your choosing, enter your bid and click “bid now”!

The auction platform will notify you if you are outbid, so you can return and place another bid before the auction closes. Depending on your notification preference sections, you’ll receive either an email or text message when you are outbid!

Bidding closes at March 21, 2027 at 9pm.
POPCORN bidding is allowed: Prevents last-second bid sniping by extending auction timers:
Extends items 1 minute when bids arrive in the final 2 minutes
Will extend up to 5 minutes per item

Shipped directly to the winning bidder
