July 2025 Announcements

Happy Medical New Year, Side By Side!

July marks a season of fresh starts—new hospitals, new rotations, new cities, and for many, brand-new roles as medical spouses. But no matter how unfamiliar the path ahead feels, we step forward rooted in Christ.

Whether this is your tenth July or your very first, know that you do not walk alone. The Lord goes before you, and we, your Side By Side community, are with you too. We believe that God has uniquely equipped you to be a steady and grace-filled presence in your home, marriage, and community.

Let’s begin this year with courage, curiosity, and deep trust—knowing that our calling is not just to survive this journey, but to grow through it, together.

Hugs,
Rebecca

Introducing Our New South Regional Director- Bekah Baglio

We are thrilled to announce Bekah Baglio as the newest addition to our Executive Team, stepping into the role of South Regional Director!

Bekah is no stranger to Side By Side. From Blacksburg to Charleston and now Greenville, SC, she has lived the mission of our ministry in every season—from leading Bible studies and communications, to relaunching morning groups and mentoring young women in her church. Bekah  describes Side By Side as “literally the hands and feet of Jesus to a group of people that society or the average church ministry doesn’t view as ‘in need.’” Her testimony of being supported—meals, prayer, childcare, grocery runs—has shaped her desire to now pour back into others.

A homeschooling mom of three (Levi, Isaac, and Amaris), married to a family medicine attending, Bekah shares that for the first time in years she feels ready and called to dedicate more regular time to ministry. She says the Lord made the timing clear, and we couldn’t be more grateful for her "yes."
Bekah’s warmth, authenticity, and passion for community-building make her a beautiful fit to encourage and equip our leaders throughout the South.

Please join us in welcoming Bekah with joy and prayer as she begins this meaningful new chapter with us!

 Happy Independence Day!

This 4th of July, we celebrate the gift of freedom — as a nation, as women of faith, and as those called to serve.

As part of a women’s ministry and as wives of devoted medical doctors, we are reminded daily of the courage, compassion, and calling it takes to serve others. Whether in the hospital or in our homes, may we always reflect the love and strength of Christ.

“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.” — Galatians 5:1 (NIV)

This Independence Day, we are thankful for the freedom to worship, to lead, and to love — and for the medical heroes (especially ours ) who embody that freedom through sacrifice and service.

Here’s to freedom, faith, and fearless women.

Love, Your Executive Team Sisters
